Recognizance of Revoria Presses users and Fujifilm technology customers in the Asia Pacific Region for their incredible creativity and innovation
SINGAPORE, Nov. 29, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — FUJIFILM Business Innovation Asia Pacific announced today the winners of the Innovation Print Awards (IPA) 2022. The 15-year anniversary edition of the Innovation Print Awards (IPA) was announced today by FUJIFILM Business Innovation Asia Pacific.Th IPA congratulates 47 winners across 10 countries in this year’s IPA Awards Asia Pacific This prestigious award was presented to the region. All users of FUJIFILM Business innovation graphic communications solutions in the region are eligible to participate in this annual competition.
There was a total of 193 (single) submission for 25 categories — with the most competitive categories in Brochure, Catalogues & Leaflets and Packaging & Labels — over 40 entries were received for each of the category.
The entries under Brochures, Catalogues & Leaflets and Packaging & Labels categories grew more than double of last year and it demonstrated an upcoming trend and demand for short run packaging and labels. To entice customers, brands want to make their packaging more appealing. Digital print packaging is now more efficient than ever. It allows for shorter run lengths, on-time delivery, and requires a lower minimum order quantity (MOQ). As the product’s lifecycle gets shorter.
“What we observed, what is trending, and what we noticed this past year — digital packaging in the competition has taken hold and was one our most significant categories that we judged,” she said. Out of 47 winning entries, 34 were printed on Iridesse™ Production Press or Revoria Press™ PC1120, including the winner of the “Best Innovation Award”, Winson Enterprise (H.K.) Limited edition Hong Kong. The submission is entitled “The Voyage of Life” and was inspired by a series of four paintings by Thomas Cole*2The four stages of human life are represented by the symbol ”, Winson Enterprise used the same idea to tell the story of a couple. Each page features a different paper type and effect. They intricately represent the changes in life and exude a variety of emotions and experiences to the reader.
