After being postponed from its original schedule between 16-18 November 2022, DS Printech China will return in 2023.
The organisers of the event have announced the next edition of digital and screen-printing trade fair will now take place from 16th-18th May 2023 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou as reports of easing pandemic restrictions in China have been making rounds.
The platform, which is business-friendly, will be a great way for exhibitors to expand their presence in the region.
Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, commented, “With parts of the country opening up for business, I am pleased that we can help rekindle the in-person industry in Guangzhou. The disrupted trade fair schedule, paired with a growing textile printing sector, has left buyers and exhibitors eager for DS Printech China’s resumption.”
As one of Asia’s most prominent textile printing platforms, this year’s show will welcome fairgoers seeking to take advantage of the forecast business climate, with expansion expected for both the digital textile printing and screen-printing markets.
It’s worth noting here that the digital textile printing market is poised for a CAGR of 12.1 per cent from 2022 – 2030, due to its accuracy, speed and small volume capabilities. The growth will be driven largely by the increased demand in China, and other parts Asia-Pacific.
However, this has not detracted from the screen-printing market, particularly in China, where an anticipated 21.6 per cent CAGR until 2027 is expected to well exceed the global average.
DS Printech China is a rebranding of two events – CSGIA and Textile Digital Printing China. The 2020 debut edition of DS Printech China attracted 200 exhibitors. They connected with 8853 visitors and more than 130,000 online participants.
The fair is co-organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, China Screen Printing & Graphic Imaging Association (CSGIA) and Guangzhou Teyin Exhibition Service.
